Button signed for Grays Ath on a one-month's loan deal from Tottenham Hotspur.
The young-stopper has been a regular for England at youth levels, including under-17. Button has represented England in a number of matches and tournaments such as UEFA European Uunder-17 Championships in 2005. Also included in the squad were teenage sensation Theo Walcott, James Vaughan and Fabrice Muamba.
Spurs handed Button a contract which will see him stay at White Hart Lane until 2011. He has made a number appearances for thier under-18 academy and turned out a handful of times for the reserves.
The goalkeeper joined Rochdale on loan towards the end of the 2007/08 season, but failed to make an appearance.
David was called up to the England under-19 to play in the UEFA Under-19 Football Championships in the Czech Republic.
He rejoined Grays Ath on a month's loan on 19th September 2008.
