A new hero? Danny Foster’s smile says it all after the youngster got himself on the Grays Athletic score sheet in Blues’ friendly against Great Wakering Rovers at Burroughs Park on Tuesday.
His first-half goal set the Conference South team on their way and was followed by goals from 18-year-old Dean Bradshaw and Bridge Road crowd pleaser Leroy Griffiths.
Grays manager Mark Stimson may have problems this season: too many goalscorers.
Freddy Eastwood was also playing in the pre-season match, but did not get on the score sheet.
