Haverson joined Ipswich Town's academy at 16-years old. Excited at joining the Tractor Boys youth set-up, Jack said;
"You couldn't get a better club, in my opinion, the coaches and staff are the best and I couldn't imagine a nicer or friendlier club at which to learn football."
The centre-back then signed non-contract papers for Bournemouth in September 2006, after a few friendly appearances for the Cherries. He was released at the end of the 2006/07 season without making a single first team appearance.
Jack signed for Conference South side Hayes on loan in December 2006. The young-denfender made 20 appearances for The Missioners, until the end of the season. Hayes' last season before merging with Yeading.
Just hours after signing for Grays Athletic, Haverson was injured in a friendly at Bowers & Pitsea in what was a suspected dislocated shoulder. It was later confirmed that he had just suffered heavy bruising.
Jack was loaned out to Sutton United on 9th November 2007 where he stayed until 1st February 2008.
On 15th February 2008, Haverson's contract was terminated by mutual consent and he joined Blue Square South outfit Bromley.
