Jimmy joined Grays Athletic as Assistant Manager on 5th January 2007. The first game in his new role was the 3-1 defeat away at Southport the following day. Jimmy had been Justin Edinburgh's number two during his time at Fisher Athletic.
Earlier in his career, Jimmy was Assistant Manager at Stevenage & coach at Woking under Graham Westley & Glenn Cockerill respectively.
His playing career saw him start at Sutton United and also took him to Aldershot, Farnborough Town, Kingstonian & Crawley. He won 2 Ryman Premier titles during his times with Farnborough & Sutton.
Jimmy was appointed manager of already relegated Sutton United late in the 2007/08 season.
