Beavan was signed by Luton Town after a successful trial period at the club, given to him by former youth team boss Marvin Johnson.
The young defender made his debut for the Hatters as a YTS player in the 4-1 defeat to Bournemouth in February 2008, coming on as a substitute for Keith Keane in the 11th minute.
He signed a professional deal with Luton in the summer of 2008.
On 23rd September 2008, George went on loan to Blue Square Premier outfit Salisbury City for a month, where he made three appearances for the club.
Grays Ath signed Beavan on loan from Luton in January 2009.
