Marcel progressed through the youth ranks at Tottenham Hotspur signing a professional contract in 2001.
He has represented England at youth level from under-16 through to under-20.
The left-sided player spent time at Wycombe Wanderers and Crewe Alexandra on trial in 2006.
He joined Lewes in the Conference South, before joined St Albans City in summer 2007.
