Taylor was with AFC Hornchurch, joining them towards the end of the 2003/04 season in May 2004, from Welling United. The youngster joined Dr Martens League Premier Division side Welling in January 2004.
He'd previously been Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Charlton Athletic.
The striker left the Urchins in October 2004, transferring to Fisher Athletic after a successful trial period. Taylor also had a spell at Margate.
Charlie was previously with Dulwich Hamlet, before signing for Grays Ath at the start of the 2009/10 season.
