Jack signed for Grays Ath on a short-term loan deal from Wycombe Wanderers on 26th October 2007, this was extended until the end of the season on 18th January 2008.
The left-back started his career as a youth at Millwall, stepping up to become a regular in their reserve side.
Last season, Obersteller had a short stint on loan at fellow Conference side - Crawley Town. The youngster only made one appearance for The Red Devils, coming off from the bench.
Wycombe boss Paul Lambert signed Jack following a successful trial spell at the start of the 2007/08 season.
In May 2008, Obersteller followed former John Yems to Exeter City ready for the 2008/09 season.
