Signed a short term deal with Grays on 3rd November 2006. Bull made his debut a few days earlier during a trial, in the Essex Senior Cup match at home to Concord Rangers. He started his career with Millwall, making 50 league appearances between 1998/99 - 2003/04. By this point, he had completed loan spells with Yeovil Town and Brentford, and subsequently left Millwall to join Grimsby Town. After 1 season, he moved to New Zealand to play for the Knights. Bull returned to the UK and signed for Rushden & Diamonds in January 2001. After his release from Grays on 8th January 2007, he signed for Conference rivals Crawley Town
