Leroy Griffiths & Vil Powell were the architects of Grays' Carthium Cup triumph on Tuesday.
The League Cup competition saw eight Conference sides drawn together in the third round of the new-look event.
All 66 members of the Conference's national, north & south divisions contest the Cup and Redbridge had made if through by the way of a bye, but they were shown no mercy by the Blues.
Former Hammer Griffiths proved his worth to Blues again in the 24th & 55th minutes, whilst Powell left it until seven minutes to go before he made it three in the one sided derby match.
Powell is fast becoming a shootist of note - something that Blues manager Mark Stimson hoped for when he brought aboard the 24-year old striker back in June.
Thanks to The Thurrock Gazette for the report.
